Police Awards Banquet

The annual police awards banquet was held on December 13 at the Casa Blanca Reception Hall.  A great time was had be all in attendance and there was even a visit from a guest dressed all in red.  This years award winners were:

  •  Detective Silva - Service and Dedication Award

  • Detective Walker - Service and Dedication Award          

  • Sonya Moore - Civilian Employee of the Year

We would like to thank all the winners for their hard work throughout the year.  Why not stop by the station and congratulate them on your own!

 

Jacinto City Police Receive "Community Heroes" Grant from Wal-Mart

The Jacinto City Police department would like to thank Wal-Mart for their generosity in providing the department with this years "Community Heroes" grant.  The funds from the grant will be used to initiate a new children's identification program within the department.  This program will include a hard plastic identification card containing your child's picture and other identifying features.  The card can then be given to officers in the event of an emergency to help make the children of our community safer.  The program will be launched soon so be on the look out for the time and place where your child can receive his identification card.
